Specific Considerations

To be successful in any second language program, you must have a sincere desire to learn the language, a strong commitment to participate fully in the training program and willingness to study and practice outside of classroom hours. It is a deeply rewarding experience to study in an adult learning environment and to develop skills in a second language; however, you will want to reflect seriously on your readiness to accept the commitment necessary to take full advantage of this learning opportunity.

The duration of the program may be reduced if you have a pre-existing level of skill in the second language.

It is mandatory that you participate in an initial placement test to assess your current skill level in your second language. Once completed, you will be notified of your acceptance status and directed to the appropriate course level.
