Program Description

If you are constantly snapping photos of friends, nature, landscapes and more, the Digital Photography program is for you. Capture the world around you, one frame at a time - the sky is the limit with experimentation. NBCC's Digital Photography program teaches you the skills necessary to take beautiful photographs and to push them in directions you never thought possible. You will learn to use the latest computer software to achieve the look your photos deserve, from simple photo retouching to elaborate pieces of digital art. This one-year program will give you the skills in studio and environmental photography, file management, colour management and quality control in workflow. Designed to prepare graduates to work in photography studios and photo-finishing shops, this program is your first step into the exciting world of digital photography.

  • High School Diploma or Adult High School Diploma or GED Diploma of High School Equivalency
Career Possibilities

Upon successful completion of this training, you will have the necessary skills and knowledge to obtain employment as an entry-level imaging technician in the following industries: Full-Service Photographic Studios, Photographic Processing Shops, Advertisement Agencies and Quick Print Shops.
