Program Description

If you have a passion for art and technology, the Art Fundamentals program might be for you. In this program, you participate in a combination of traditional arts education and applied technologies, preparing you for a rewarding career in the arts! While encouraging you to see and translate your vision into media reality, you develop a clear understanding of observational drawing, art theory and history, and discover applied technological applications that have transformed modern culture. Offering an intensive approach, this program aids you in expanding your portfolio, and increasing your readiness for advanced study in programs such as Animation and Graphics, Electronic Game-3D Graphics, or other craft, design, and art related programs offered at the post-secondary level or entry-level positions.

  • High School Diploma or Adult High School Diploma or GED Diploma of High School Equivalency
Career Possibilities

This program prepares you for further studies in animation, electronic game graphics or design or art and craft. Students may consider entry-level employment opportunities such as Graphics Illustrators, Interactive Media Programmers, Painters, Sculptors or Graphics Technicians.
