Program Description

If friends and family turn to you when planning their next bash, you have a sharp eye for detail and a knack for organization and you're asked to be on many committees, the Event Management program is for you. Whether you're already involved or simply interested in planning festivals, trade shows, conventions, conferences or the presentation and planning of other events, this online program solidifies the skills need on your own schedule, without leaving your home. This program can be, but is not limited to, part-time study, so you can work it into a busy schedule. From conceptualization to completion, you will acquire the skills to put together a successful event in courses that have you develop and execute a comprehensive plan covering the finance, marketing and imaginative elements needed.

The Event Management program prepares you for a career as a conference planner, conference services manager, convention coordinator, event planner, festival organizer, meeting planner, special events organizer, trade show planner and more.
