FREDERICTON (NBCC) - New Brunswick Community College has welcomed Chris Toole as the newest member of the NBCC team. He assumed his new role of Regional Director of Saint John Campus on June 11, 2012.
Mr. Toole brings 20 years of educational experience to the position, having recently served as Director of Finance and Administration for School District 8. He has extensive experience in the areas of process improvement initiatives, as well as finance and administration in an academic setting.
Mr. Toole is a community leader who has led a variety of dynamic projects such as the creation of three new sports fields in the Saint John area in cooperation with local parent committees, and is respected for his extensive community involvement. He is recognized as a relationship builder and effective communicator.
“I am truly looking forward to joining the team at NBCC at such an exciting and transitional time,” Mr. Toole said. “As a member of NBCC’s innovative team, I am anticipating working within a community of leaders to create rewarding and successful student and community experiences.”
Chris Toole will replace Diane Burt, who will move into the role of Director of Applied Research, a new position that will be pivotal in moving NBCC forward as a contemporary, innovative college.
