NBCC is for everyone. With that in mind, NBCC would like to join the Province in recognizing Disability Awareness Week from May 27 to June 2, 2012.
At NBCC, we are committed to providing an accessible learning environment for all students. We work to ensure that students with disabilities receive appropriate services and accommodations that allow for successful educational outcomes. With this in mind, students have access to a Student Accommodations Advisor in each Campus region. In conjunction with other Student Services staff, it is the role of the Student Accommodations Advisor to provide assistance in the application for funding, assistive technology training, accommodations and other services to students with disabilities.
NBCC’s goal is to make sure all students have the opportunity to access appropriate and viable training opportunities. Please join us in recognizing Disability Awareness Week in your own homes and communities.
