Working In Canada

While at NBCC, there are many different work options. Whether it’s a Co-op placement, an internship, or off campus work, international students must have a work permit. Click here for application information. This link also provides information on a post-graduate work program for students wishing to work in New Brunswick, or anywhere in Canada after graduation.

On campusStudents without work permits can still apply for available positions at our NBCC Campuses. Contact the following campuses for more information: Fredericton, Miramichi, Moncton, Saint John, St. Andrews and Woodstock.

Social Insurance NumberTo work in Canada you must have a work permit, unless you are working on campus, and a Social Insurance Number (SIN). For more information on the application process for a SIN, please visit the Service Canada website.
