Water and Wastewater Online Operator Training

This training provides a comprehensive training program in Water and Wastewater Operations comprised of a group of core courses:

• Computer Orientation SANI1030
• Sciences SCIE1030
• Safety SECU1091
• Mechanical IPTI1044
• Reporting BMGE1114
• Water Quality ENVI1061
• Wastewater Quality ENVI1059

followed by four discipline courses:

• Water Distribution Processes SANI1029
• Water Treatment Processes ENVI1060
• Wastewater Collection Processes ENVI1058
• Wastewater Treatment Processes SANI1028

This training meets three primary goals:

1. Provides a solid knowledge base for the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems.
2. Prepares operators to write Provincial Certification Exams (levels 1, 2, and 3).
3. Provides a solid foundation for operators to receive training in advanced topics.

With online training, students are provided with the opportunity to take these courses while on the job.
