This course will provide the student with an understanding of payroll remittances to various stakeholders, year-end procedures, reporting requirements, and recording of payroll entries.  

Topics will include:.

• Remittances to federal, provincial, and third party stakeholders
• Accounting documentation for payroll
• Year-end documentation
• Organizational remittances, accounting and year-end requirements to internal, external, and government stakeholders.

The third course towards certification from the Canadian Payroll Association on successful completion of the association exam.  (Certification requires an introduction to Accounting course, ie. GACG1050 in addition to payroll courses).
