Introduction to Programming VB Net

Course Description

Topics will include:

  • Utilize the Visual Basic.Net development environment and tools
  • Apply problem solving abilities in developing program designs from specifications
  • Write programs according to specifications using fundamental programming constructs including selection structures, loops, sub procedures, functions and collections
  • Communicate self-identified technical problems, processes and solutions
  • Test and debug applications
  • Maintain existing programs by making modifications as required
  • Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of programs 
  • Transfer theory and skills to new technical concepts and environments
