Program Description

This program provides comprehensive education in current Human Resoures Management (HRM) theory and practices. The program is intended for those seeking employment in the human resources field, and for HRM professionals who wish to expand or update their skills. Graduates are prepared to work as HRM professionals in a broad range of industries within the private and public sectors, including manufacturing and IT industries, placement agencies and service centres. Graduates may also be self-employed in the human resources field. Learning activities are highly experiential as students take part in projects, role-plays, simulations and work attachments to combine classroom learning with practical application. Graduates obtain positions in the areas of recruitment, training, labour relations, compensation, benefits, pension and more.

Admission Requirements

Persons seeking admission to this training should:

• Posess a university degree, two-year college diploma plus work experience, or equivalent training/experience

• An ability to conduct basic internet research
• Demonstrated compentency in written and oral communication
