Topics will include:

• You can’t believe everything you read!
• This course is designed for both new gardeners and those with years of experience; we’ll examine garden lore that should be ignored and examine better alternatives
• Insects in our gardens - recognizing and destroying the bad ones and luring and keeping the good ones
• Pruning tips and techniques - when and how to prune trees and shrubs
• Environmentally friendly alternatives to pesticides
• Transplanting tips and tricks
