• This course will appeal to new gardeners and those with a green thumb
• Understanding soil pH - when and how to change it, or what to plant if you don't change it
• Examining when and how to fertilize plants, and with what fertilizers
• Composting tips and tricks
• Please don't plant me there - plant suggestions for all types of soil and growing conditions
• Double digging - how and why we need to do it for healthy gardens
• Lasagna gardening - how to create new beds without digging
