- Understanding soil pH - when and how to change it, or what to plant if you don't change it
- Examining when and how to fertilize plants, and with what fertilizers
- Composting tips and tricks
- Please don't plant me there - plant suggestions for all types of soil and growing conditions
- Double digging - how and why we need to do it for healthy gardens
- Lasagna gardening - how to create new beds without digging
