Program DescriptionThis program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become employed in Agricultural Maintenance. Training is aimed at an exposure to a variety of skills, enabling the graduate to successfully carry out the basic functions of a technician. Graduates of this program may be employed with agricultural truck and heavy duty equipment dealers and manufacturers, after-market suppliers, farming enterprises and forestry operations.

Specific Considerations:
Farm Equipment Service Technician, Heavy Equipment Service Technician and Truck and Transport Service Technician are certified trades in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Students who sucessfully complete the Agricultural Equipment Repair program, and meet the necessary requirements will be eligible to write Block 1 of the apprenticeship certification exam. Admission RequirementsPersons seeking admission to this training should:
• Posess a High School diploma, or GED
Duration This Agricultural Equipment Repair Program is 40 weeks long, and begins in September.
