GED Preparation
If you are 19 and over, and you left high school without graduating, you may want to obtain your GED Diploma. A GED Diploma is the equivalency of a High School Graduation Diploma or an Adult High School Graduation Diploma.
How does the GED program work?
The GED Program is an ten-week course preparing students for the GED tests required for a GED Diploma.
- Students participate in an adult learning environment, following a schedule of classes in five main subject areas: Writing, Reading, Social Studies, Science, and Math.
- Classes run from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.
- The program involves traditional classroom instruction along with opportunities to practice skills and test-taking.
- The College, situated within walking distance of downtown, offers free parking and is located on a bus route.
