NBCC students on the Board of Governors because I believe in the importance of
the programs offered by NBCC.”
Edward Jenkins is a second year
Mechanical Engineering Technology student at NBCC’s Saint John location. Prior
to enrolling at NBCC, Jenkins spent a decade in the workplace, and has been
involved in organizing team meetings and has previously participated in board
meetings regarding large project negotiations.
He was his high school’s student council
president, and sat on several school and PTA committees.
He feels the workforce requires more and
more technical and hands-on knowledge from NBCC graduates, and as the College
responds to these demands, he feels the student perspective is critical.
