Charlie Norman – St. George
“Being on the NBCC Board is an exciting opportunity to get back in the field of education,” Charlie Norman.
Norman retired six years ago as District 10’s Director of Education. Prior to his position as director, he worked with school district office for 20 years, and taught for 14 before that. He also coached softball and high school basketball, while serving with his local Rotary club. He says he really enjoyed dealing with education, and looked at the prospect of serving on the NBCC Board of Governors as an exciting opportunity to get back in the field.
As a board member, he said it’s wonderful to see NBCC’s employees so passionate about their jobs. He hopes, as a board member, his work will complement the pride people already have in their careers. He says he values the work NBCC graduates do.
