Position: Chair of the HR Committee

Education: Barb has a diverse educational background,
including: collective bargaining, labour relations, frontline leadership, and
certification in professional selling skills and human resources.
Experience: Barb has a wealth of experience in human
resources, working in the healthcare field for 25 years before getting hired at
Northumberland in 1992.
Behind the Scenes: In addition to her career, Barb has
served on a number of other boards, including the New Brunswick Safety Council
(now named Safety Services NB) and the Miramichi Regional Development
Corporation (now named Enterprise Miramichi).
Barb on NBCC: “NBCC
is important to post-secondary education in New Brunswick as it offers hands on
training, which is very attractive to potential employers. Graduates enter the workforce equipped with
the skills they need to succeed. NBCC works with organizations continuously in order
to offer the right programming.”
