The New Brunswick College of Craft & Design has a proud heritage in crafts education. We are still the only college in Canada to offer exclusive post-secondary programming in fine crafts and applied design. A combination of full-time programs, evening courses and summer workshops appeals to a diverse student population, with studio majors in Ceramics, Communication Design, Fashion Design, Jewellery/Metal Arts, Photography and Textiles.
Our learning-centered community features small class sizes, studio facilities including everything from kilns to computer labs, the largest crafts library in the province and a campus bookstore. Award-winning faculty bring their professional experience to every class, enhancing courses with real-world context. Every year students and alumni win provincial and national awards for their work.
Studios and labs are located in a 1920’s-era warehouse in downtown Fredericton, one of the Canada’s designated Cultural Capitals. Public libraries and private galleries, bookstores, boutiques, cafés and the Beaverbrook Art Gallery are only steps away. Considering an application for full-time studies? Our monthly newsletter provides information on current events and activities and we strongly recommend a campus visit. We look forward to seeing you soon!
