Dr. Bill McIver, NSERC Industrial Research Chair in Mobile First Technology, is working with Information Technology Programmer Analyst instructors, Russell Allen and Dave Morris, on mobile applications and software prototypes to develop products that are adaptive to emerging mobile and wireless networks. Some specific areas being addressed are interoperability, interconnected user experience, access and security. Industry partners include GTECH, Technology Ventures Corporation, Mariner Partners, T4G, Accreon and Stellar Learning, all of whom are interested in and supportive of research and innovation in the mobile computing sector.
